When a RoomWizard device is powered on for the first time you will be presented with a Setup Wizard that will walk you through the initial configuration of the device.
At any point during setup you can press the info button in the lower left corner of the screen. This will display the device's IP address, MAC address, OS Version and Serial Number. This information is useful if you need to troubleshoot the device during setup.
You may also press the need help button to get links to the RoomWizard onboarding website as well as all of the up to date documentation
Step 1: Orientation
First you will be asked to set your display orientation. Depending on how your device is mounted you may need to flip the display orientation 180 degrees.
Step 2: Language
Choose your language. This will change the language for the rest of the setup as well as the RoomWizard user interface.
Step 3: Network
If your RoomWizard device is setup to use DHCP it will automatically acquire an IP address and will connect to the device manager.
If you need to setup the device to use a static IP address or proxy tap the Advanced Settings button.
Proxies can be Auto or Manual. There is a separate tab for each configuration.
If your device is unable to obtain an IP address from the network you will be notified on screen.
If network problems persist please see our troubleshooting article for common problems and their resolutions.
Once you see two green checkmarks on step 3, please wait 10 minutes for the device to receive the latest updates, then proceed to step 4.
Step 4: Space Name

You may also search for a specific space by name.
Step 5: Finish
Once the device has an IP address and a space name the device will be assigned a license by the Device Manager and setup will be complete.
Your device will now display the main RoomWizard application
If your device is unable to receive a license from the Admin Portal please see our troubleshooting article for common problems and their resolutions.
Any new devices that are being installed will receive an update as soon as the device recognizes a connection with the Admin Portal.
