RoomWizard uses a cloud-based architecture powered by Microsoft Azure. In order to start using the Admin Portal you must first create it and populate your devices.
If you are trying to add devices to an Admin Portal that already exists please use the Steelcase IoT Admin Portal to add those devices.
To begin please go to: go.steelcase.com/roomwizard
Click on the link in Step 2 to continue creating your Admin Portal.
You will be asked to confirm your email address. Your email will be used to verify your Admin Portal creation. It will also be used as the global admin account.
Once your email is confirmed you will receive a 6 digit confirmation code. Please check your email and enter this code in the form.
If you do not see the email in your inbox, please check any filtered or spam inboxes you may have. Steelcase uses Sendgrid to send our welcome email. If you currently block Sendgrid you may not receive this email. Temporarily whitelisting the IP addresses 184.108.40.206 and 220.127.116.11 should allow you to receive the email.
Once you have received your code, please enter it and click "Confirm."
Next, you will enter your Admin Portal name. It is important this is entered correctly as it will determine the URL you will use for your personal Admin Portal. Names can only be 18 characters long. The URL follows this pattern:
Once you have verified your workspace name click "Next."
If your Admin Portal is not already created you will be asked to provide a Serial Number and MAC Address of one device that was on your RoomWizard order. This information can be found in these places:
- On the packaging slip that came with your devices
- On the label located on the device package
- On the product label on the device
If you enter a serial number and MAC of a device that is already associated with an Admin Portal you will receive the following message. Please confirm you are completing these steps for the first time before proceeding.
Once that device is validated an Admin Portal is created and populated with all of the devices on that order and you will see the following message:
You will receive an email from email@example.com at the address you specified earlier that will contain a link to set your password for your personal Admin Portal. Below is an example of what that email looks like.
If you haven't received an email in a few minutes please check your filtered/spam inbox.
Click on the link in the email and you will be prompted to set your password for your Admin Portal.
Password complexity rules:
- Password must have at least 8 characters and not more than 32 characters and can only contain letters, numbers, and symbols
- Password strength level will show up when user is setting up a new password
Once the new password is set, please proceed to log on to your personal Admin Portal (yourcompany.devices.steelcase.com) with the new password.
