RoomWizard allows you to customize booking and device features. Some of these features impact user experience, while others impact certain backend functions.
The following are descriptions of the unique features that are customizable on RoomWizards.
Allow booking from device allows users to book a room from the RoomWizard device. This will then create a calendar reservation on the room's calendar.
Require meeting check-in requires users who have booked a room via the calendaring system to check-in to a meeting. If a meeting is not checked into, RoomWizard will automatically release the room in the calendaring system.
Note: If you are using the Steelcase Workplace Advisor Autobook/Autorelease features ensure that require meeting check-in is DISABLED or a conflict in features will occur.
Enable custom meeting titles gives users who are impromptu booking the ability to enter a meeting title.
Enable local file sharing for software updates optimizes the software update process for RoomWizards. If this setting is enabled one RoomWizard will reach out to the cloud to download any available software/firmware updates. It will then act as a local fileserver using the FTP protocol and propagate the updates to other devices locally. If this setting is disabled each RoomWizard will reach out to the cloud to download software/firmware updates.
Power Save Settings
RoomWizards can be configured to enter sleep mode during scheduled timeframes. While in sleep mode the display is turned off and the LEDs are set to 50% brightness to save power. The RoomWizard can be woken up by double-tapping the screen.
These settings can be toggled at a device, group, or customer-wide level.
To toggle these settings for a specific device select the device you want to customize from the all devices list and click the "settings" tab.
To set this company-wide click Customer Settings > General
Once you have enabled the features you'd like to press save to submit the changes to the device(s).
