Determining Battery Health
Workplace Advisor sensors use CR123A, 3.0VDC Lithium batteries that have an expected life of 3 years while under normal operation.
Many factors can affect how long a battery lasts and this table is meant to provide a general overview of what to expect from your batteries as they are used over time during normal operation.
|Indicator||Voltage Range||State||Description||Life Expectancy|
|3.1V - 2.8V||Good||The battery is healthy||Up to 3 years in the 3.1V - 2.8V range|
|2.79V - 2.5V||Warning||The battery should be replaced soon||Approximately 3 months in 2.79V - 2.5V range|
|2.49V - 2.1V||Critical||The battery should be replaced immediately||Not long!|
You can now see the battery voltage by hovering over the battery icon. This is useful primarily when troubleshooting a particular sensor or to get an idea of where the battery is at in its life cycle.
